Winter NAMM '08 proved to be exciting and successful for us and we thank each of our dealers
that participated. It was great to meet those that we had not and always great to re-visit
with those that we had already met.

Photos from the Festival on Sunday afternoon as the guitar raffle ticket
was being dug out of the basket with help from two young men!
The winning ticket drawn was for Charles McQuire from Vinton, VA!

Jeff Huss at far left, thanks everyone involved for such a superb job of selling the tickets.

The entire weekend was full of great music, great friends, great times.

In early June '07, we had a 'passing of the hat'...the sales hat, that is.
Tim Nelson left H&D to return to the retail world. He moved his family back to Colorado. We wish him the best.

Please meet Jeff Hill. Jeff came to work with us 2 years ago. He has past experience in Management/Customer Service
in the small business arena and we are sure you will find him pleasant and helpful.
You may reach him directly at: sales@hussanddalton.com

The crew from Virgina Living Magazine visited the Huss & Dalton Guitar shop and we are delighted
that we will be part of an article featuring Virginia guitar builders! The June 2007 issue hits the stands in May.
We are most appreciative of photographer Robb Scharetg...he was a pleasure to work with! Thanks Robb!

NAMM  |  NAMM  |  NAMM...2007
We enjoyed and 'survived' our 5th Winter NAMM in Anaheim this year.
The crowds were huge, the 'roar' constant and lingered within our ears for several days afterwards,
and the weather was cool, windy, and cloudy for the most part...very unlike sunny, warm, California!
Many thanks to our Dealers in helping us succeed thru their success.

We were privileged to have Albert Lee stop by our booth and play for awhile....that's Albert on the left above
with Mark Dalton, co-owner of H&D.
"thanks" so much to Howard Gillespie at Oasis Musical Instruments for the introduction!

July 2007 Update: Mr. Albert Lee decided he would like to have a custom H&D guitar built for him!
This, needless to say, was very humbling and exciting!
So, with a bit of planning, we built him a Custom MJ with transparent black all-over finish.
We'll have a 'special' web segment with photos later this Fall when Mr. Lee receives his guitar.

H&D #1...actually, it was #11....returns to Huss & Dalton!

Ronnie Bugg playing his new H&D Owens Mill Banjo.  **Click these three images to enlarge**
You see, Mr. Bugg purchased our very first Huss & Dalton guitar...serial #11...that Mark has in his hand above.....way back in March 1996!
Jeff Huss had built 10 guitars when he and Mark Dalton partnered up...thus starting with serial #11.
Long story short, we were fortunate enough to get our first ever H&D back into the shop and built Mr. Bugg an Owens Mill bluegrass banjo!  thanks Ronnie!
